- + Powerful per-item configuration via JSON
- + Good for builders and long gathering sessions
Cons

- - May cause edge cases with mods expecting default stack sizes
Overstacked (Hytale) — Review
Overstacked tackles one of the most common pain points in survival and building: running out of inventory space. It increases maximum stack sizes for many common items and supports deep customization through a generated configuration file.
What it changes by default
The mod raises stack sizes for materials like ores, wood, fibers, soils, petals, rubble, shards, and seeds—aimed at reducing “inventory spam” during gathering.
Configuration
After the first run, the mod generates a folder in your mods directory with a MaxStackSizes.json file. You can edit it to set stack sizes for any item in the game.
Who it’s for
- Builders hauling huge quantities of materials
- Survival players who prefer fewer storage trips
- Modpack creators tuning inventory friction
Verdict
Overstacked is a strong quality-of-life option with excellent configurability—just decide up front how much you want it to reshape progression and logistics.
